This iconic watch is named 1815 Up/Down to commemorate the year Ferdinand A. Lange was born and because of the model's novel 'up-and-down' power reserve indicator. The power reserve indicator indicator appears between 7 and 9 o'clock on the watch's white dial and runs up to 72 hours. Seconds are displayed using a small sub-dial between 3 and 5 o'clock while hours and minutes are shown at the center using two elegant blue hands and black Arabic numeral hour markers. The case is made from 18K rose gold while the strap is made from brown crocodile leather and features an 18K rose gold tang clasp.
