This limited edition timepiece from Audemars Piguet was made for the 2007 Americas Cup to honor the 32nd America's Cup defender. This piece is very unique, and limited to 1,300 pieces world wide. Not only is this timepiece special because of its limited availability, but due to its status as the world of horology's first forged carbon case! Despite having a unique case, the watch's dial has many special qualities as well. It displays the standard hours minutes and seconds alongside chronographs and a date aperture. The dial also displays the Alinghi symbol.
The caseback is PVD-coated titanium, and depicts the Alinghi team. The back also beas the inscription Royal Oak Offshore ALINGHI Team.
The strap is made of a sturdy black rubber and boasts a tang clasp. Lastly, this timepiece has a water resistance to ~100m/330ft.
