With this model, the Ocean collection for the first time ever entwines two prestigious complications - tourbillon and jumping hour - in a single timepiece. The tourbillon in this watch is everything but ordinary: imaginatively designed, it is crafted so as to seem suspended inside the transparent case, floating in between two panes of sapphire crystal, held in place only by two hand-chamfered steel bridges. The tourbillon is actually driven by a wheel geared to its outer circumference, which is almost entirely concealed by the minute track of the dial. The partially covered dial indicates the hour through an opening positioned at 12 o’clock, which “jumps” once per hour. Unlike many other jumping hour watches, this model has a minute hand designed so as to never conceal the hour aperture. The case of this splendid timepiece is 45mm wide and made of 18k white gold, with a see-through sapphire crystal case-back featuring power reserve indicator. The watch is worn on a black alligator leather strap combined with tang clasp in 18k white gold. This timepiece is water resistant to 50 meters and suitable for everyday use and swimming.
